Nathan Profitt
Nathan Profitt described as "The rise of the Artist, Producer
and DJ Technician Phenomenon". Nathan Profitt has been
recognized by many of the greatest International Superstars for
his unbelievable production.
His tracks have been featured on the play lists of many World
Famous DJ s including Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren,
Paul Oakenfold, D:Fuse, Perry O'Neil, Ferry Corsten, & Airwave.
Nathan Profitt was discovered by United States Trance Legend
Christopher Lawrence who opened the door for Nathan to release
his debut EP Acceleration on Moonshine Music in 2001. With the
music industry wanting more, Moonshine released two follow up
singles, Beat-That-Funk & There Is Hope with a Remix by the
distinguished Perfecto artist D:Fuse.
Nathan's music has also been featured on one of the longest &
hottest selling DVDs in the North America. Girls Gone Wild
licensed Nathan s song Beat-That-Funk for their T.V. Commercial
advertisement which was aired over 11,000 times on several North
American syndicated television networks. That DVD release may
have opened the door for another as Nathan's music can also be
found on The World Party On Tour: Ibiza & Las Vegas DVD with the
sounds of There Is Hope .
The endless possibilies did not stop there, as the gaming world
sought after the sounds of Nathan Profitt as well. They got it
with the release of "street Hackers" in 2003 in which the entire
game's soundtrack was produced by Nathan. Space , Traction ,
Destiny & Reflections are a few of the 10 songs that were
licensed for that PC title.
After exploring the DVD & Gaming World, Nathan went back to work
in the studio. In 2005 Nathan released his latest EP under the
Progrez label in Belgium. This EP featured songs "Luna" and
"Liquidity" with a remix of "Luna" by up and coming and John
Digweed acknowledged producer Christopher Lobsinger.
Bonzai Music (parent label of Progrez) has also licensed 3 more
songs by Nathan ("Departure", "Dreams", and "Jade") which are
slated to be released in 2007. These three trance smashers are
sure to raise some eyebrows when they hit the shelves.
It's no suprise that many of Nathan's singles have been featured
on prominent CD Compilations such as D:Fuse People 2: Both Sides
of the Picture , After Hour Power: Main Room Anthems , Beyond
the Future , BPM Presents: That Trance Mix 2 , Love 2 Dance ,
Anthemic Trance V2.0 , Pure Trance: Volume 4 , Pure Trance: The
Box Set & Trance Universe . These releases have considerably
helped further Nathan's reach and expand his fanbase as a
result.
In 2005 Nathan began Djing to compliment his production and
showcase his tracks. Nathan's very first dj mix completed was
not only featured by DI.FM (arguably the world's largest
internet radio station that features dance music), but in 2006
that same mix was also featured on XM Radio channel 82 "The
System" for tens of thousands of listeners to enjoy. The mix was
so well received that the XM Program director has already given
Nathan the green light for a special 30 minute XM exclusive dj
mix to be featured on the network. XM radio has also agreed to
circulate any songs that Nathan would like to submit for
airplay.
Nathan has been rated as a top ten trance artist on Myspace.com,
and in less than a year of setting up his myspace profile Nathan
has accumulated nearly a half million plays.
Nathan Profitt, Artist, Producer & DJ Technician is sure to
continue to make his mark in 2007 and years to come.
